Pikachu llegó al refugio junto a sus hermanos Lara, Rocky y Luna. Los cuatro fueron encontrados en la calle cuando eran tan solo unos cachorritos incapaces de sobrevivir por sí mismos. Por suerte para ellos, una familia los recogió y cuidó de ellos hasta que pudieron entrar en el refugio.

Aunque en la casa de acogida se socializaron y eran manipulables, el cambio de entrar en la protectora ha sido demasiado grande para ellos y no acaban de adaptarse. Rocky y Lara han tenido la suerte de ser adoptados hace poco, pero Pikachu y Luna todavía siguen con nosotros esperando su oportunidad.

Pikachu es un gato muy tímido con las personas, pero lejos de pasarse el tiempo escondido en un rincón, le encanta corretear y explorar por el refugio a la vista de todos. A menudo se le ve pasear por los tejados de las casetas mirando a las personas con curiosidad, desde una distancia segura.

Creemos que en un buen hogar es el empujoncito que le falta para confiar en las personas y ser feliz. Puede convivir perfectamente con otros gatos y le iría muy bien tener compañía gatuna, para que la adaptación sea más sencilla. Sería ideal para él un hogar sin niños y con experiencia en gatos tímidos.
