Leila fue rescatada de la calle con muy pocos días de vida. Al ser tan pequeña y delicada tuvo que ser criada a biberón en una casa de acogida, hasta que consiguió salir adelante y estar lo suficientemente fuerte como para entrar en el refugio y buscar a su nueva familia.

Al principio era poco manipulable, pero con los meses mejoró mucho y se volvió muy sociable. Fue adoptada cuando era una cachorrita y devuelta al cabo de 2 años porque la familia que la adoptó ya no podía seguir cuidando de ella. Los primeros días los pasó muy asustada, ya que no entendía nada de lo que había ocurrido, pero al cabo de unas semanas se fue tranquilizando y volvió a ser la gatita que conocíamos.

Leila es una gata muy buena, cariñosa y juguetona, que puede convivir con otros gatos y disfruta mucho de la compañía de las personas. Tanto es así que, cuando ve la más mínima oportunidad, se sube encima de las personas para que le dediquen toda su atención y recibir mimos. Sería preferible para ella una familia sin niños pequeños, ya que también necesita sus momentos de espacio y tranquilidad.
